"The Hard Drive"
So after surviving a gunshot wound and falling off a bridge into the Seine River, Becca strolls into a fancy restaurant and asks the hostess for a meal. The hostess is another conveniently positioned contact from the Bad Old Days and the shooter was a horrible shot. After getting Becca's ridiculously impossible survivable wound stitched up, Hostess gives her a gun, tells her to shove off and to stay away from Antoine Lussier (Joachim de Almeida).
Becca promptly accosts two French policemen and insists on meeting with Antoine. When that doesn't seem to go well, she threatens Antoine with releasing a hard drive with all his dirty laundry on it. He agrees to help as long he gets the hard drive back. Back at CIA substation Paris, Station Chief Miller is barking orders again and finally gets the hot chick at Langley (Gina McKee) to let him see Becca's file.
Becca walks onto a farm and says hi to a guy (Lothaire Bluteau) she calls "Hard Drive". Kinky. Turns out he's got a perfect memory and knows where all the bodies are buried. She tells him it's time to come in from the cold, he's not happy but she doesn't give him any choice. After reading Becca's file, Station Chief Miller figures out she'll contact Lussier and he'll try to double cross her and springs his team into a covering action.
When she starts to feel sorry for Hard Drive (and annoyingly continues to call him "Hard Drive") and the jam she's about to put him in, she calls Lussier, who shows her tape of Michael getting roughed up. She gets the jelly legs and seems resigned to turning Hard Drive over. He pleads that he is married with children now and Becca is getting weaker in the knees because she's a mom, you know? Lussier shows up with a hooded guy at gunpoint and before even confirming it's her son, Becca turns HD over to him. She figures it out in time and opens fire but really, how stupid is she?
Now that she's exposed HD, she feels the need to protect his family. Station Chief Miller isn't keen on making a deal with Lussier but hot chick at Langley is insisting. While packing up his family, HD informs Becca her only chance of getting what she needs is on Lussier's work computer. So, she has to break into French Intelligence. No prob.
After packing up his family, HD decides to go with Becca and see it through. Station Chief Miller meets Lussier for lunch. Tells him about the deal offer from the CIA but also he'd prefer to put a bullet in Lussier's head. Lussier is dismissively French at the threat. Meanwhile, Becca steals an ID card and HD fakes it up for her. She also seems to be wearing the same clothes she got to France in, swimming and getting shot included.
The pair stroll into the building looking totally not suspicious and set off an alarm on purpose. Becca scales a freaking wall then parkours her way up another level (conveniently, nobody is looking up during the evacuation of an entire building full of people) and enters the offices of French Intelligence. She takes out two guards with a keyboard and finds that Michael is being moved and Lussier is behind it.
HD gets brave and tries to hack more of French Intel while she calls Station Chief Miller for help in stopping Michael's flight. She steals a motorcycle while HD has put all of Lussiers laundry on the internet Wiki-leaks style before reuniting with his family. Lussier is on the run after it's all made public.
She gets to the runway as Michael is forced on board and weeps as the plane takes off while Station Chief Miller looks on. "Missing" is raising the stakes fast but in real danger of going off the rails if it can't reign in the story and keeps pushing the Wonder Womanization of Becca Winstone.
